First Visit to Germany (Part 1)

On 22 nd June, 2019 I travelled to Bonn in Germany for the first time using an Emirates flight at 21 25 from Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka. A few weeks before I travelled I had an operation to remove a cataract in my right eye. Million Kambuli read from 1 Corinthians 10:31. We then sang the hymn To God be the glory. John Chundu opened in prayer. The Grade 7s then sang two songs: We Praise Thee O God and All Hail the Power of Jesus' name. The congregation then sang 'The Lord's my shepherd, I'll not want and 10,000 reasons'. Patricia Kabongo the outgoing headgirl gave her testimony of her stay at Eagles Nest. The vote of thanks was given by Mr Ian Silwimba one of the parents. He quoted the poem 'On children' by Kahlil Gibran.  Chipita Sibale one of the pastor's prayed for the children and the Eagles Nest staff. The Bible reading was given by Kutemwa Filakati the vice head boy. The grade 7s then sang a song 'There is peace in Christ.' Voddie Baucham preached God's word from the t...
